Santa Barbara, CA (September 12, 2011) – Tempest Telecom Solutions, LLC, a leading supplier of infrastructure and related services to carriers and network operators, announced its acquisition of significant assets and intellectual property related to Coastcom and Bayly networking products from the Receivers of Bayly Communications Inc.

Bayly Communications Inc. and Bayly Networks Inc. closed their doors on August 2, 2011.  This left hundreds of critical networks without support, supply or repair facilities for the Coastcom DI MUX III, acquired by Bayly in 2008, and other Bayly products such as the OMNIPlex and OMNIFlex products.  Through this acquisition, Tempest now owns all rights to the Coastcom and Bayly product lines and has also retained the services of key personnel from the defunct company to facilitate a smooth transition.
