Hamm Named VP of Service Operations

Goleta, CA (April 15, 2010) – Tempest Telecom Solutions, LLC, is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason N. Hamm as Vice President, Service Operations, who started on April 1st. This newly created position further strengthens Tempest’s capabilities for carrier network maintenance, expansion and mobile broadband development in its growing Field Services division.

Reporting to Gordon Smith, Senior Vice President, Services, headquartered in Dallas, TX, Hamm is charged with continuing expansion of the Field Service Operations, while maintaining Tempest’s commitment to delivering quality of services and enhancing revenues in this area.

Given his technical and managerial expertise, I have no doubt he will help accelerate our offerings and execution.”

Hamm’s experience spans telecom carriers across the western United States from Texas to Missouri to Oregon in a variety of field technician and management positions. Most recently, Hamm served as Regional Director, Network Engineering for T-Mobile US in Concord, CA, where he was responsible for improving nationwide data integrity by 22% over four months and saving $500 million annually.

Two weeks into the job, Hamm said, “I am extremely excited to help Tempest Telecom Solutions build a world-class Services team focused on supporting carriers to realize their goals.
