Tempest Telecom Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to work with our Services Group in Irving Texas. Work includes the oversight of all telecommunications project functions including budgets, schedules, and quality control. The project Manager position will include the following roles & responsibilities:

Job Description:

  • Establishing procedures & processes for multiple telecom, logisits, and technical projects.
  • Manage vendors performing services functions
  • Manage reconfiguration and repair of telecom equipment
  • Communicate schedules with customers
  • Establish reporting for customers & internal use
  • Oversee project budgets & variances
  • Work with technical stadf to develop & implement solutions
  • Work with Logistics staff to fulfill storage & transportation requirements
  • Work with Engineering staff to develop & implement solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Telecom industry
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of spreadsheets & databases
  • Excellent computer skills & experence using Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excelling verbal & written communication skills are required
  • Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations

Strongly Desired Assets:

  • RF/Microwave experience with a wireless service provider
  • Site Development experience
  • Equipment Engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of GSM, CDMA, and UMTS wireless technologies
  • Fluency in the Spanish language
